Yamaha FSC-TA TransAcoustic Cutaway Guitar
Acoustic Guitar (R)Evolution
Playing in a lush, lively acoustic space is inspiring—but most of us practice in dry-sounding rooms. Yamaha’s TransAcoustic guitars recreate that expansive “great room” feel from within the instrument itself, so you get room-filling ambience anywhere you play—no amp, pedals, or PA required. Once you feel the space open up around you, it’s hard to go back to dry.
The secret is Yamaha’s integrated TransAcoustic system: onboard Hall/Room reverb and chorus are generated by an internal actuator that vibrates the guitar’s body, mixing naturally with the instrument’s own resonance and projecting true acoustic effects into the air around you (and out the pickup when plugged in). It’s a fully self-contained creative ecosystem that invites longer practice sessions, more expressive writing, and richer solo performance.
Built on proven Yamaha craftsmanship, TransAcoustic models pair quality tonewoods and scalloped bracing with the immersive effects engine—so you’re getting a serious acoustic first, with bonus inspiration on tap.
A model for every player: choose from dreadnought (FG / FGC), concert (FS / FSC), premium L Series (LL / LS), compact parlor travel (CSF), and nylon-string classical (CG) body styles—all available in select TransAcoustic configurations. Find the feel, voice, and ergonomics that fit your music, then switch on the space.
