The EVH® 5150® Iconic® Series satisfies the needs of gigging and recording guitarists craving that powerful EVH tube tone at a more affordable price. Evolving from the revered flagship 5150III® amplifiers, the Iconic amps deliver the searing sound and growling gain that Eddie Van Halen made famous.
Collaboratively designed by the EVH team and led by renowned amp engineer James Brown, the 5150® Iconic® Series 15-watt 1×10 combo is powered by a 6L6 power tube and a multi-stage hybrid preamp section anchored by two ECC83 tubes, giving you all the muscle you need in a modern practice amp. A specially engineered MDF cabinet with internal plywood baffling tightens up the low end, while a custom-voiced 10" Celestion® speaker keeps cleans pristine and high-gain tones tight, clear and articulate.
Punching above its weight, this combo provides two channels—each with an additional voicing for extra versatility:
- Green Channel — engage the Overdrive button to move from sparkling cleans to increased gain.
- Red Channel — hit Burn to add fiery crunch that’s perfect for blistering leads.
Each channel has its own Gain and Volume, letting you match levels when switching between clean and high-gain sounds. Shared EQ (Low/Mid/High), global Resonance and Presence knobs shape the low- and high-end response, while a global Reverb adds the perfect amount of ambiance for any room.

Defective or Damaged Instruments
We stand behind every instrument we sell. If your instrument arrives with a manufacturer defect or is damaged in transit (e.g., a broken pickup on an electric guitar), please contact us immediately.
Eligibility:
- The defect / damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
- You must provide clear photographs or video showing the issue.
Submission of photos or video alone does not guarantee a return or repair. All claims are subject to a physical inspection by our certified technician.
Process:
- Email support@solschoolofmusic.ca with your order number, a description of the problem, and the visual evidence.
- We’ll review and, if preliminarily approved, issue a prepaid shipping label.
- Ship the instrument back to us for inspection.
- After inspection:
- If approved, we’ll repair the instrument at no cost or replace it with an equivalent model (subject to availability).
- If not approved, the instrument will be returned to you unrepaired and return shipping will be charged to you.

Repairs & Maintenance
Beyond initial defects, we offer ongoing string replacement and repair services for Tar and Setar. These services follow our standard repair rates and turnaround times. -
Non-Defective Instruments
Instruments that are undamaged and functioning as intended—regardless of buyer’s remorse or change of mind—are not eligible for return, exchange, refund, or credit. -
