Pacifica Standard Plus guitars were designed for players of all types seeking their own unique sounds. They deliver exceptional sound and playability, and feature newly designed alder bodies, slim C-shape maple necks with rosewood or maple fingerboards, Reflectone pickups co-developed with Rupert Neve Designs, and a choice of four vibrant finishes.

Acoustic Design Technology Produces Balanced Tone
Yamaha’s Acoustic Design technology utilizes scientific processes—such as 3D modeling—to devise wood-routing techniques that increase body resonance and improve the transfer of vibrations between neck and body.

- Slim C-Shape Maple Neck: A modern neck shape that facilitates both comfort and speed, finished in satin for smooth, friction-free playability.
- Carved Neck Joint Heel: A smoothly contoured heel makes accessing even the uppermost frets comfortable and easy.
- Comfortable Contoured Body: The alder body is beveled along the lower bout to increase playing comfort during long sessions.
Newly Designed Pickups Provide Clear Tone
Reflectone pickups created in collaboration with Rupert Neve Designs deliver clear, articulate tones with solid lows and sparkling highs. The HSS layout with coil-splitting offers outstanding tonal versatility—from glassy single-coil chime to muscular humbucker drive.
Aesthetics Inspired by Japanese City Pop Art
A variety of vibrant new finishes were developed jointly by teams in Hamamatsu and Los Angeles, inspired by Japanese city-pop art and the sun-soaked vibes of Southern California.

Defective or Damaged Instruments
We stand behind every instrument we sell. If your instrument arrives with a manufacturer defect or is damaged in transit (e.g., a broken pickup on an electric guitar), please contact us immediately.
Eligibility:
- The defect / damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
- You must provide clear photographs or video showing the issue.
Submission of photos or video alone does not guarantee a return or repair. All claims are subject to a physical inspection by our certified technician.
Process:
- Email support@solschoolofmusic.ca with your order number, a description of the problem, and the visual evidence.
- We’ll review and, if preliminarily approved, issue a prepaid shipping label.
- Ship the instrument back to us for inspection.
- After inspection:
- If approved, we’ll repair the instrument at no cost or replace it with an equivalent model (subject to availability).
- If not approved, the instrument will be returned to you unrepaired and return shipping will be charged to you.

Repairs & Maintenance
Beyond initial defects, we offer ongoing string replacement and repair services for Tar and Setar. These services follow our standard repair rates and turnaround times. -
Non-Defective Instruments
Instruments that are undamaged and functioning as intended—regardless of buyer’s remorse or change of mind—are not eligible for return, exchange, refund, or credit. -
