Seymour Duncan - Parallel Axis Original Humbucker For Neck (Black)
Designed for rock players, the black PATB-1N Parallel Axis Original from Seymour Duncan is a neck trembucker pickup, which is a humbucker with wider spacing of the pole pieces, used for symmetrical positioning under the stings of guitars with a tremolo or wide-spaced hard tail bridge (2" or wider from the center of the Low E to High E directly over the bridge pickup).
The PATB-1N delivers a bright, clear neck humbucker tone, similar to the Jazz Model. The alnico 5 bar magnet, combined with the precise magnetism of the dual-staple poles, makes the tone even more articulate. Chords sound full and well defined, and single notes have a little more clarity than most neck humbuckers. The PATB-1N also features a nickel-silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax-potted for squeal-free performance. Like all Seymour Duncan pickups, the Parallel Axis Original is carefully hand-built in Santa Barbara, CA.
