Designed for modern metal players, the Nazgul 8-String Passive Mount from Seymour Duncan is a humbucking pickup for use in the bridge position. It produces an aggressive, high-gain output which sounds lively, yet completely controllable. The pickup features a large ceramic bar magnet and custom windings which deliver the perfect blend of note articulation, saturation, pick attack, and one of the most brutal "chugs" from a humbucker.
The sound is harmonically rich across the entire audio spectrum with an extremely tight bass response. The pickup also features a nickel-silver bottom plate, 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance. Like all Seymour Duncan pickups, the Nazgul is carefully hand built in Santa Barbara, CA.
