Remo Emperor X Coated drum heads are the thickest made by the company, created from two free-floating plies of 10-mil Mylar film with a 5-mil reverse black dot in the center - that's a total of 25mil! This thickness plus the coated surface give you a focused, warm tone in a head that can take intense amounts of abuse.
