Product Description
The NUVOBand B-flat Clarinet is approximately half the weight of a traditional clarinet and produces a mellow, satisfying tone. Its patented body design and keys are made from a high-strength engineering polymer that balances durability and acoustic quality.
Featuring a soft-touch, adjustable silicone thumb rest for added comfort, the instrument packs neatly in just 2 pieces into its padded case—making assembly and storage quick and easy.
The included NUVOBand mouthpiece is standard-sized with a quick-release built-in ligature, making reed positioning fast and easy. Use it with our synthetic reeds or any standard B-flat clarinet cane reeds. The barrel accommodates any standard B-flat clarinet mouthpiece.
Also included is the KIO (Keep it Out) wall hanger so you can hang your clarinet for easy access whenever you want a quick practice session.
100% waterproof, the NUVOBand Clarinet is simple to clean and durable enough for the beach, pool, or classroom. It’s the perfect practice instrument, suitable for beginning band programs and players up to the intermediate level.

NUVO Cleaning Guidelines
Always follow the recommendations of your local disease prevention center and health authorities. The following steps help properly disinfect NUVO instruments.
1) Hot Soap & Water
NUVO instruments can be fully submerged in hot, soapy water—inside and out. Reeds, mouthpieces, lip plates, and headjoints may also be submerged. Allow all parts to air dry naturally.
2) Dishwasher (Top Rack)
Instruments may be placed on the top rack of a dishwasher. Do not use the heated dry cycle—this can damage adhesives and thin plastic edges. Let instruments air dry. If adhesive parts separate, they can be easily replaced.
3) Alcohol Wipes & Mouthpiece Cleaners
You may use any mouthpiece cleaner or alcohol wipes on NUVO instruments. Wipe mouthpieces at the start and end of each class, and use hot water or dishwasher cleaning between classes for deeper sanitation.

Defective or Damaged Instruments
We stand behind every instrument we sell. If your instrument arrives with a manufacturer defect or is damaged in transit (e.g., a broken pickup on an electric guitar), please contact us immediately.
Eligibility:
- The defect / damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
- You must provide clear photographs or video showing the issue.
Submission of photos or video alone does not guarantee a return or repair. All claims are subject to a physical inspection by our certified technician.
Process:
- Email support@solschoolofmusic.ca with your order number, a description of the problem, and the visual evidence.
- We’ll review and, if preliminarily approved, issue a prepaid shipping label.
- Ship the instrument back to us for inspection.
- After inspection:
- If approved, we’ll repair the instrument at no cost or replace it with an equivalent model (subject to availability).
- If not approved, the instrument will be returned to you unrepaired and return shipping will be charged to you.

Repairs & Maintenance
Beyond initial defects, we offer ongoing string replacement and repair services for Tar and Setar. These services follow our standard repair rates and turnaround times. -
Non-Defective Instruments
Instruments that are undamaged and functioning as intended—regardless of buyer’s remorse or change of mind—are not eligible for return, exchange, refund, or credit. -
