About This Product
The ECOLOGIA series harks back to the tradition of European guitar making of our great-grandfathers. At that time, tonewood was sourced locally — spruce, walnut, maple, and acacia — and had proven itself for decades. Only much later did the international wood trade with tropical woods replace these trusted European timbers.
Manuel Rodriguez continues this tradition with an environmentally “green” series, crafted entirely from European woods: Spruce (Top), Walnut (Back & Sides), Acacia (Fingerboard & Bridge). These guitars are finished with an ecological, water-based lacquer, handmade in Europe with short transport distances. They are instruments built in our climate for our climate — sustainable, authentic, and environmentally conscious.
