A minuscule axe with a monstrous bite, the Jackson® JS Series Dinky® Minion JS1X is ideal for aspiring little shredders or grown-up road dogs who need an easy-traveling instrument loaded with all the features they love.
Offering a 2/3 scale length (22.5"), the Dinky Minion JS1X features a poplar body, speedy bolt-on maple neck with graphite-reinforcement rods and a 12"-radius amaranth fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and sharkfin inlays. A rear-angled Jackson pointed 6-in-line headstock allows for evenly distributed tension, while a sculpted heel paves the way for easy upper-fret playing.
A pair of Jackson high-output humbucking pickups with ceramic magnets crank out clear tone with plenty of girth. The neck position delivers bright highs while the bridge adds plenty of crunchy distortion. Its versatile voice can be shaped with a three-way toggle switch and single volume and tone controls, while a string-through-body hardtail bridge with block saddles improves intonation and sustain.
Making a statement in both sound and style, the Dinky Minion JS1X comes in Gloss Black with matching black hardware.

Defective or Damaged Instruments
We stand behind every instrument we sell. If your instrument arrives with a manufacturer defect or is damaged in transit (e.g., a broken pickup on an electric guitar), please contact us immediately.
Eligibility:
- The defect / damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
- You must provide clear photographs or video showing the issue.
Submission of photos or video alone does not guarantee a return or repair. All claims are subject to a physical inspection by our certified technician.
Process:
- Email support@solschoolofmusic.ca with your order number, a description of the problem, and the visual evidence.
- We’ll review and, if preliminarily approved, issue a prepaid shipping label.
- Ship the instrument back to us for inspection.
- After inspection:
- If approved, we’ll repair the instrument at no cost or replace it with an equivalent model (subject to availability).
- If not approved, the instrument will be returned to you unrepaired and return shipping will be charged to you.

Repairs & Maintenance
Beyond initial defects, we offer ongoing string replacement and repair services for Tar and Setar. These services follow our standard repair rates and turnaround times. -
Non-Defective Instruments
Instruments that are undamaged and functioning as intended—regardless of buyer’s remorse or change of mind—are not eligible for return, exchange, refund, or credit. -
